I watch a lot of old tech videos, and it's neat as hell to find how the first thing people have ever done with a camera is point it at the nearest cat.
watching knitting (or similar) tutorials without audio is infuriating, bc half the video length is just watching hands pointing and fondling at random, and you have no indication of when they're gonna stop talking and show how to do the stitch.
Bonus points if there's not even any captions.
Itβs so funny to think about the fact that thereβs people out there deferring every life decision to this
So, I listened to Niel Cicierega's Closerflies before ever hearing Closer.
I've since then corrected that mistake, but I've been cursed with an existence where Closerflies sounds more like the correct song than the original does.
Making new friends is a struggle bc my brain interprets the very act of wanting to be friends as suspicious.
Either they have ulterior motives, or they wanna be friends with me.
Either one of those are a major red flag.
"Why do I not react to horror the same way normal people seem to? Have I just watched too much to where it doesn't phase me?"
*Overhears family discussing stuff that happened in my childhood*
"Oh yeah, that tracks actually."
Night in the Woods screenshot. Angus "I don't even believe in hell and I hope they all go straight there."
Is that a "degoogled chrome," a "demozilla'd firefox," or one of the few browsers that aren't just a modification of an existing one?
Don't be like me, get a decent browser. The only reason I'm not swapping is bc I'm tired of having to log into new shit. If at some point it also decides I don't need my cookies anymore, I'm moving to something else.
Why is every browser fucking awful anymore?
Welp, Zen updated and decided for SOME fucking reason that meant it needed to wipe all of my tabs across every workspace for no reason.
That was probably around 50 tabs I lost, and they're not in my histories because reasons.
Listening to Reptile and unironically thought "this song really sounds like something out of Quake" before realizing.
I may be stupid.
is it real or am I high
Dilbert being escorted from the office building where Autumn and Summer work. Summer says to Autumn "I heard he tried to hypnotize the new intern and when that didn't work, that's when he started with the slurs."
a comic from last year to celebrate @nothingdoingcomic.bsky.social's one-year anniversary
An image of my recent drawing's comment/rebleat/heart count, showing 1, 4, and 8, respectively.
Oh hell yeah, this one's doing severals.
Black and white image. An anthropomorphic cat dressed in bright colors is holding up a can, looking to the right, his expression chipper. Dialogue balloon reads: "Gail! Grab one for Inky, too, yeah? They're having a moment, might help em out." Behind them is an anthro sheep, who's drawn with white lines, and has no color, only a black galaxy pattern fill. The sheep is looking at them, looking downtrodden, head tilted to the side. Both are wearing hoodies, the cat has highly noticeable black eyeliner, and headphones.
The same two characters as last image, now sitting on a bed together. The cat is sitting cross legged, playing on a handheld, while the sheep is against the wall, clutching a pillow. The cat's expression is focused on the game, unphased by the conversation, while the sheep continues to look depressed. Dialogue: "Why are you STILL friends with me?" "Should I not be?" "Just getting concerned about your life choices for you." "You sound kinda like Gail."
What the actual fuck was wrong with that tank game at the game awards having a seizure screen?
I actually have a fucking headache now, Jesus.
Yeah, sore hooves hurt /j
I just feel Metroid Prime 3 was really disappointing in that it was missing a lot of the things that *I* personally enjoyed about Prime, but idk, I don't wanna color perspective on it too much since I do know at least one person who thought it was alright
Oh I could rant about 3 for an hour, that game is Metroid Prime's sticker star imo.
But, character limit + sore hooves lol
Oh, I try to. I'm just in a refactor-heavy phase rn bc my current architecture won't support the feature I wanna add.
I'm a visual artist by trade, so my main reward is getting something that looks/feels cool, tho, its like. The part that sucks about adhd lmao
I genuinely refuse to play the mouselook ports.
The game and levels were balanced around that control style, you can't just swap it in for something more modern.
Nothing quite feels as bleh as refactoring.
You're telling me that I gotta spend a week to get my game back in the shape it was before I touched it? Uh yeah great, perfect for my motivation.
Going without a visual "ooh that looks so cool now" for more than a day just instaburns me out, adhd sucks
Lucky can detach and go into what I'm lovingly referring to as Critter Mode.
This will not be for combat, but she will have her uses. Since Lucky is the source of Clover's barrier, she will be inactive while Lucky is off.
(Warning: Bsky messes with the audio levels. Will be loud.)

Devs who feel like NPC dialogue is non-important have a bare contempt for the game they're making and the industry they're in. This is not up for debate.
People remember games for their character, and skimping on dialogue means you have no character in your games.
An screenshot of the godot editor, displaying a flat scene with red sunlight, walls, a ramp, and a a capsule.
That same scene but in Trenchbroom, minus the lighting. The capsule is now a cube.
Worked out how to link custom entities and stuff between godot and trenchbroom.
Hopefully should be able to avoid doing anything in godot's editor beyond light adjustments (They're set up in trenchbroom but there's no lighting in tb, so I figure I'll just. Copy the numbers over from godot.)
if you are missing the surreal / abstract / pitiful then you are in danger of drifting into the Cool Zone, where monsters just look Cool with no possibility of being Scary
Is that AI?
