There should be a popup appearing when uploading an image asking "allow [website] to use your HTML5 canvas data?" but for some reason it doesnt appear for bluesky on librewolf. I haven't found a fix for this yet but you could probably fiddle around with about:config

The logo of the "Keep Android Open" campaign is an Android robot dressed as Darth Vader. Across the top it says "I AM ALTERING THE DEAL" in all caps, and below the robot it says "Pray I don't alter it further".

This is a reference to how Android acquired a massive catalog of apps be making access open to the platform back in the day, and Google assuring it would remain open, as opposed to the iOS platform which was (and still is) very restricted.

And, of course, Star Wars.

KDE supports the "Keep Android Open" campaign

#Google will cut off independent developers to #Android if they do not register with Google first. This will kill independent platforms like @fdroidorg.bsky.social and severely impede FLOSS devs from creating apps for Android.

Generally not, but it is possible to boost volume of an audio file a little bit (with software such as audacity) if there's a file that's particularly quie. This has it's limits and usually distorts audio if you go beyond a certain point

ISO-style orange warning sign. An arrow is seen indicating a distance of 30 cm between the icon of a optical radiation emitter and an eye. the text "Always keep a distance of 30 cm between emitter and eyes" is seen above. On the bottom a strip of alternating yellow and black diagonal lines is seen, indicating the location of a hazard.

Better eye icon and recalculated the minimum safe distance with more conservative margins

I hacked ChatGPT and Google's AI – and it only took 20 minutes I found a way to make AI tell you lies – and I'm not the only one.

I got a tip that all over the world, people are using a dead-simple hack to manipulate AI behavior. It turns out changing what AI tells other people can be as easy as writing a blog post *on your own website*

I didn’t believe it, so I decided to test it myself www.bbc.com/future/artic...

*BUCK converter.

5A is the most many powerbanks provide, and a buck converter is really the only option for higher amperages. Most are pretty efficient, so you don't lose much.

If you need any more help or advice, feel free to ask!

14.02.2026 16:06 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

[continued] If 5A isn't enough for you, you can use a DC-DC stepdown duck converter to convert it into a lower voltage with more Amps available.

Not a fursuit maker (yet??), but I'm currently using the INIU BI-B64 for a cyberdeck build i'm working on. It has a really high capacity (99.9 Wh, 27,000 maH) and can output 140W, 5A through it's main USB-C port. You can make use of all this power with a little PD trigger board. [continued]

Haven't tried it myself, but I'm pretty sure it's centralized, as in users on one instance can only communicate with users on the same instance.
I'm currently trying out XMPP, which has worked pretty well so far and is decentralized like email and has been around for a while.
