This week in a celebration of our fair state, we played Butter Princess by @oxsago.bsky.social! Hubristic, deeply flawed attendees at the Minnesota State Fair conspired and squabbled to steal the 90-pound butter bust portrait of the fair’s pageant queen, Princess Kay of the Milky Way. Huge fun!

I love this project and I love that one of my elected officials has been leading it. Seeing the organizing and on-the-ground safety work of @jasoncomix.bsky.social as well as several Minneapolis city council members has really stretched my imagination about what elected public service can look like.
