With decades of photos, I:
- import to the 24tb raid array sitting on my desk, in a year/month/day structure I've used since I only shot film
- thumbnails, lightroom catalogs, etc. are all on a fast SSD external drive
- the raid array is backed up with Crashplan so I always have an offsite backup.

Among the many things I hate about President Ubu is that this comment could be about 20+ different things I know about, or infinite things I haven't caught up with yet.

I know math is hard, but that does seem like a pretty simple word problem, even for someone like me with two art degrees 😆
