I’m the opposite. Katakana (much of it) came pretty easily. Hiragana remains mysterious.

I don’t, but I’m enjoying the fact that the #scriptsky tag (for screenwriters) also picks up the occasional manuscript chat.
I guess it needed a script doctor instead of a script dismemberer, but I’m not qualified.
Restructuring this script is like there was a person, and the person was kind of okay, but not great, and so I dismembered them, and now I'm trying to put their severed limbs in new positions but they won't stick, and there's blood everywhere.

Just finished VOICELESS by @cynohead.com and WOW. Definitely one of the better specs I've read in a long while. I can absolutely see why it's a PAGE Gold Prize Winner. David's an incredibly skilled storyteller and I can't wait to see what he does next!
