Three U.S. citizens, and three green card holders were detained at O'Hare airport, hidden away at Broadview, and kidnapped to Wisconsin, only to be released once @morrisonforil.bsky.social showed up and shined a light on this crime.

Sunny is free. We are so glad that she is with family and on the way home. Sunny and her 5 coworkers were taken to Broadview and then moved to Juneau, Wisconsin where they were finally released from ICE custody. We were lied to the entire time about her location. DHS needs to answer for this.

My best friend’s sister, who CBP has been telling us different stories all day about, her phone just got turned back on. She is a US citizen born in Evanston. They said she was never detained at O’Hare after telling us she was, they said she was not transferred to Broadview, and now she's in a detention facility in WI.

and then her phone is turned off, discontinuing us to see her location information. Which up until that point was still pinging from the ice detention facility. 20 minutes later they allow two Cook County sheriff officers to enter and search the facility themselves showing no one inside. 2/3

ICE taking steps to close detention center at Fort Bliss, document shows Preparations to shutter Camp East Montana in El Paso come less than eight months after facility’s opening, according to an internal ICE document.

This ICE detention center is the largest in the country and has become notorious for rampant physical abuse, medical neglect, and death.
