I always enjoy going to an underground show and being surprised by something really good.

March 2026 event extravaganza Get ready for our busiest month so far! From our regular meetups to world class conferences, this March we have at least ten (10!) DWebYVR and adjacent events going on.

There's a ton of events going on next month! It took @daffl.xyz quite a bit to gather them together in a post. Thanks to him for making sure everyone knows what is going on #Vancouver #events

This is why I'm considering walking away from open source. It was barely sustainable before and now there aren't even humans to talk to anymore. No real community or collective sensemaking and an agent has yet to hire me for consulting.

The Missing Middle of Open Source Why serious, maintainer-driven projects struggle to sustain themselvesβ€”and what it will take to fix it.

"Thankless maintenance leads to burnout. Sabbaticals rarely sustain solo maintainers. Niche projects struggle against VC-backed hyperscalers. Paid services are hollowed out by AI." natemoo.re/posts/missin...

This is the complete, real migration of @mk.gg from the Bluesky PDS to a new Cirrus PDS Worker.

The more boring bits are sped-up to get it under the 3 minute video limit. The real thing took about 12 mins.

The Black Mountain trail is nice in the snow. Microspikes can be useful if there are icy patches.

While Stackoverflow had its own problems, I've been seeing a very similar trend for most open source projects as well. Often they are used (by indicators like e.g. downloads) more than ever before but no longer have any insight into how or how to improve.
