Today's knitting tip: the crochet cast on. If you're working on a project that needs a stretchy edge, this technique is a fantastic option. It's also incredibly fast, especially when you need to cast on a lot of stitches at once.

I use a ball winder. Well worth the investment. It makes flatter cake. Then you can do an outside or inside pull.
I spent the past 2 days I have spent more time baking instead of knitting. I think baking (especially bread) is just as relaxing as knitting. Plus during rest times, you get to knit…so win win. My loaf from this weekend - a black roasted garlic and rosemary bread (not shown banana bread and cobbler)
