been pretty interesting to hear people tackle their feelings about the extraction shooter genre bc i assume marathon is a lot of people's first one (certainly is mine) but on some level some of the negative critique i see reads like complaining that there's an enemy team in team fortress 2

in base 3 i only had a handful of missions where i had to scrape the barrel a little bit, but in pirate's moon i had to redo mission 6 because 7 was completely impossible with an atlas and 2 centurions. i remember some gauntlet-types in 5's dlc which was fun

i really like the *idea* of salvage in mechwarrior but it has always felt like they have a harder time designing around the possibility of the player like, maybe not having an extra atlas

yeah, if you go into the 'agents' tab of a particular faction page there's a list of what counts for rep

i'm so motivated to play the pirate campaign of pirate's moon now that i found out that they have preset inventories instead of salvage

yup, this one was pentel pocket brush pen for the black & pentel fude standard for the red. both are really good, the fude standard is maybe easier for playing with custom ink refills

redraw of the scott mccloud bit in "understanding comics" where he demonstrates the power of stylization. on the left, a cartoony and simplified amos saying "that's why i decided to draw myself in such a simple style." on the right, a normal and realistic amos saying "would you have listened to me if i looked like this?". basically just his ears are slightly more pointed and there's nothing else going on.
