Great news for Germany, even better news for Europe ! 🇪🇺

There is €200 billion in Russian frozen assets sitting in Belgium. This is obviously good news, but Europe can’t afford half-measures anymore with the US’ withdrawal. We need to seize those assets to save Ukraine.

The US is bullying Canada and Mexico with tariffs, and threatening to go after Europe next. Instead of hoping for the best, the EU needs to lower its dependence on the US immediately.

This is shameful and the US will pay for it by losing its place in the world. Those who used to look to them will look to others like China for help. Europe cannot take the US’s place, but it needs to do more.
