Gotta boost @protopro.blue
(Robofish was also good)
It was, legitimately, *such* a good fish
*Frenetic acceleration ensues*
Please tell me why on seeing this my mind immediately went to Hakuoki ππ
(Or that case is undermined)
IMO a tragedy of AIβs trajectory (amongst other complicated feelings I have) is that it theoretically has the potential to be powerful as a tool for play, but the reality is contrary
Concert ticket (and obscured pamphlet) for βSkye Consort & Emma BjΓΆrlingβ at May Memorial UU Society, through the Folkus Project (with an amusing logo of a cow standing upright playing a banjo with pink spotted swim trunks on a yellow surfboard and the tagline βgreat acoustic music pure and unpasteurizedβ
My heart is so full tonight at this concert. Amazing music, and especially a joy to get to chat with the group. Havenβt smiled like this in ages, I so needed that. π
9.94, that is unreal π€―
Initially I swore I saw some parallax effects that arenβt actually there. Though I think that would make it extra cool π
Shoutout to Fleet Foxes
we have 6 different clouds all collaborating:
- Dynamic mask clouds based on "cloud cover" parameter
- High up stylized cirrus clouds to create direction\interest
- Far static horizon cumulonimbus, to create a "back plane"
- 2x static midground clouds for parralax
-"bounce plane" clouds
Oh no, Iβve found a new obsession.
Oh hey I was wondering about the viability of this. Want to look into implementing this under @vite.dev Vitepress (for the @frameshifter.org site and eventually my own once I finally get around to migrating off VuePress and implementing the blog stuff Iβve learned from building that)
Corollary to an argument I've been making recently: If you're applying AI to solve something for you, maybe what you actually have is a UX problem.

A couple months late, but finally got to write about some exciting work that was finally published and the broader impacts. Link to the full blog post in thread!
Yeah I think Python can do this, I think for any class? Regardless it is indeed handy
Or is it just, thatβs not actual operator overloading, and you canβt do that as an operator overload because indexing is generally not an operator
I guess I canβt see why that couldnβt be done in an operator overload. At least you could do that with Pythonβs __getitem__
Why metatables vs operator overloading or⦠whatever python calls those double-underscore prefixed+suffixed methods that do something similar? (Not super familiar with Lua)
This is, unfortunately, a mood. Love u Javy <3
This is the direction Iβm hoping to go after in the scientific software and participatory science space - thereβs a similar problem in academic ecosystems in particular as grad students/postdocs move on, etc. Donβt know if itβd be helpful, but open to chatting about that if it is.
Iβd be interested to see if in higher dimensions Iβd be in closer proximity to other clusters. Itβs not super surprising that Iβm put in a software-focused cluster, but I could imagine being in a few other areas
Yet another argument for returning to Latin declensions π
Counterpoint, as someone who originally monitored a noreply: You wind up getting tons of automated responses (vacation auto responders, mailbox full, β¦)
My initial assumption was sports reference (ie, thing that gets you to a win quickly with limited resistance)
Exciting, good luck! I had a similar experience my first time doing that last year
Totally into new solo tabletop stuff!
