Oh shit, is that a print edition of The Onion? Would love to be able to have them delivered to the UK without having to pay £100.

Instant Note I’m gradually moving more and more of my workflows into Notion after years of hanging around the fringes. The company’s continued push into useful AI with their custom AI chatbot and, as of last week, Custom Agents has made it quite exciting to be around the Notion community. However, Notion can become a little unwieldy

In this week's Club @macstories.net Weekly, I wrote about a super useful app: Instant Note for Notion. It's a quick and easy way to add notes to any of your Notion databases.

The Apple Watch Is Right There There’s been some chatter recently about wearable AI products that Apple might be developing. AirPods with cameras, smart glasses, and an AI pendant are all rumored to be possibilities. Apple’s AI efforts have been discussed and re-discussed so much over the past few years that I don’t need to bore you by repeating the details,

In this week's Club @macstories.net Weekly column, I wrote about how I think Apple's possible AI wearable future might best be served by a product they already have.

I've been rewatching Scrubs before the new season and the gut-punch in this one is still one of the best ever TV moments.

An End-of-Day Reset Shortcut On a recent episode of Clockwise, I shared a handy little automation that went down well with the other guests and realized it was one I’d never really talked about before. As I mentioned in the episode, this is a shortcut that’s become so part of my routine – while staying in the background –

In this week's Club @macstories.net Weekly column, I wrote about my very simple, but very effective, daily reset shortcut.

Not that I'm a sad person myself, I'm very grateful for my life, they just connect with me in a 'what could have been' way.

Well, the whole story with your Dad was quite, shall we say, eventful. Then to go back to your Uncle and hear that after everything that your Dad went through, and despite your Uncle saying he was the one doing the right thing, he was still very sad. I very much connect to these sorts stories.

Kicking the Tires on Agentic Coding in Xcode Last week, in a rather surprising move given the other AI-related difficulties apparently underway at the company, Apple rolled out the Xcode 26.3 release candidate with support for agentic coding. This immediately caught my eye because, as I mentioned three weeks ago, I have been using Claude’s agent, Claude Code, to build my first iOS

In this week's Club @macstories.net Weekly column, I detailed what's impressed me about Xcode's new Claude agent integration and how it has sped up work on my first iOS app.

Reddit - The heart of the internet

Just catching up on these and sweet Judas, is this horrible. Yeah, a frozen frame might look 'fine' but the actual animation – you know, the thing it's meant to be – is so terrible. Why do people think this is acceptable quality for a worldwide production?

Experiences with Apple’s Icon Composer A couple of weeks ago, I talked about my experiences with Claude Code and how it enabled me to create my first iOS app. I was (and still am) unsure how I feel about AI being able to generate code from scratch, but I’m leaning towards it being a net gain. This week, I launched

Firstly, to be clear, this would not have been possible without Claude Code and Opus 4.5. This has been a revelation and enabled me to create the app from scratch alongside XCode.

I designed the app myself and prompted Claude to create it, refining and debugging over the last couple of weeks.

Searching For an Offline Drive Searching Utility Let’s start by addressing that inelegant title: there isn’t really a good way of describing this category of utilities in a pithy headline. So let me break it down with an easier-to-understand explanation. My work as a freelancer over the past year has involved an increasing number of varied projects, and I’ve had to back

In this week's Club @macstories.net Weekly, I wrote about my search for the best Offline Drive Searching Utility. The selection of available apps is better than that terrible name, thankfully.

But if you'll forgive me, I find it hard to get too worked up about icon designs when Apple is putting ads for a professional creative suite in its free productivity apps. Which is the greater offense to the user experience?

Very fair point by @jasonsnell. I'll admit I was one of those complainers.
