The Lex Friedman podcast with the OpenClaw founder is really good. Kinda figured it'd be like a lot of YOLO but he's very thoughtful. Really fun hearing from someone using agents so heavily and about workflows etc podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/l...

I’d get the remarkable on Amazon and use the return policy to test it out. The Boox I probably wouldn’t have actually used consistently if that’s all I had.
Boox was very mid. Felt exactly like what I'd expect an Android tablet to feel like. Slow, unrefined, all the apps were meh. Doesn't feel nice at all.
I've been trying out ePaper tablets for the past few weeks, mostly journaling and taking notes. Remarkable is hands down the best. I wanted to love the Kindle Scribe but it's heavier, slower, pen feels worse, writing feels worse, just all around worse minus the Kindle catalog.
This is a really good run down of the actual steps to get Claude to work well. My implementation planning process is similar, but I updated it with some tips from here. I should probably write a post about mine!

Think of all the wonderful aliases we could have if the CIA had to release them! FOIA anyone?

YES PLEASE. Actually, a whole bunch of companies should try and replace Slack. Google Chat isn't even close and missing so many features. Zoom Chat is closer, but not there.
I'm having a lot of fun reading all the things people are doing with OpenClaw. But working in healthcare, no way I'm setting it up for any of my data or tooling...
But something similar, using my local LLMs, proper security? Definitely interesting. Anyone have experience with NanoClaw yet?

Today must be "LinkedIn created a new category of emails that you're automatically subscribed to" day! It's a near monthly holiday!
Only took like 3 years, but Spotify finally has what I thought DJ was going to be: prompting for a playlist. Yay!
I swear half my job is copying questions into ChatGPT and copying the answer to whoever asked. Some day I'll convince them to go to GPT first...
You've got this! What's left?
A lot of my days are now a split between managing a whole bunch of agents (Cursor/Devin/Claude) and code review (assisted by AI more and more). I'm so *so* much more productive, but I miss coding a whole feature some days. On the high side, it's let me scratch my side project itch again!
Other than git haha
In the past couple years I'd moved a bit away from dotfiles, but having a few projects and couple machines, I've had to get back to using them more. Having Claude to do things like "fix the shell prompt to look like this" has made them sooo much nicer to work with.
Any good strategies for syncing?
Just noticed with Chrome/Safari next to each other with Slack behind...
macOS Tahoe has some rough edges:
Told a vendor today to cancel our account and hopefully refund us. Salesperson oversold, engineer says the features we need might be there Q2, so I tasked Claude to replace it. 2 days of on and off prompting and I have a working alternative. This is what SaaS is gonna be up against going forward.
Yuuuuup, that's where I've wound up every time so far! Bun has finally made workspaces *mostly* work, but still TBD if it'll do everything I'm hoping.
I was using an M1 Pro and recently upgraded to an M4 Pro. Day to day I don't really see much difference. I've used an M4 Air and didn't notice a ton of difference between either until I had a lot of stuff going at the same time, then it felt sluggish (when it got hot).
It really is. How do you share the code?
I miss native dev instead of just React Native, but RN is just so dang productive. I really miss writing Swift, probably my favorite language I've used.
I love when a company selling software write a blog post about 5 best XYZ and puts themselves at the top. Yay SEO game.
Super interesting thread on how the creator of Claude writes Claude with Claude: twitter-thread.com/t/2007179832...
Fun reading this as I'm moving our PRDs and implementation plans into our monorepo so AI has better context:
www.kasava.dev/blog/everyth...
#bun #reactnative
Some context: we try to open source a lot of our code at Flourish, including our UI/UX library ferns-ui (rebrand coming soon). So that lives in another repo from our main mono repo. But for DX, we want to be able to see changes in the main repo as we change ferns-ui, rather than merge/tag/install.
Working on converting all of our repos to Bun. Holy shit, it's so fast, so nice, and I wish I did it years ago. Plus compiling the backend down to a single executable and tossing that in Docker is so nice.
Anyone have any good tips for linking in libraries to React Native with Bun?

If you ever need to present at work or give a talk, this was a fabulous talk on giving a talk. I might submit a few presentations for 2026! It’s been nearly 10 years since my last talk, wow. m.youtube.com/watch?v=Unzc...
I'm PhD in graphic design and Cracker Barrel's REAL problem is they didn't go *far enough*
