Digging through #archive catalogues can be so useful - this b*stardy order ( more politely known as an "order for filiation and maintenance") from 1812 relates to a child who was my 3xG Grandmother. Now I know who her father was - allegedly.

or combine the two ....as a #MetPolice officer many years ago we used to travel by #tube a lot, sometimes in the driver's cab. If you were lucky they would let you drive !
They are usually only a couple of quarters behind current so 2019 will be available ( they're on microfiche).

Caused by a few registrars, at the beginning of registration, recording mothers with the first name repeated, so "Hannah HUNT formerly Hannah COLEMAN" using one of those on your list as an example.

An occasional copy is one sent to GRO outside of the normal quarterly returns process and would usually indicate some sort of correction. Having a different reference number is unusual ... if you want to send me images of the 2 certs via chat I may be able to help further
Wonderful film of London in 1985 - includes two young police women I remember so well ( Steph & Jo). The days when patrol didn't involve stab vests, tasers or CS spray ( and sometimes not even a radio).
