Agreed. And If I'm wrong, I'll face God and walk backwards into Hell.
Yes! I'm in mine. I mended 8 items that had been sitting around for a year this weekend. And have a few more advanced pieces at the tailor right now. I love making exactly what I want, not just what the stores have.
You feel that? 💋
I'm blowing you a telepathic kiss
Ahhh 🥰 stop!

The little scarf is so good, it really makes the outfit!
People need heroes right now
Pro wrestling popped up during the great depression (to my understanding) when people needed it and I don't think its a coincidence pro wrestling is having a mainstream moment again with the reaction Brody King "Fuck Ice" chants.
Stone Cold is the obvious example. The actual man and the things he's done in his personal life is another discussion, but the character is a great vessel for a lot of people to project their frustrations
Wrestling is an art form where the crowd is part of the narrative and even when the writers have a plan, you cannot hide the cheers/boos when someone is so, so over, they have to ultimately submit to the will of the masses. Its an escapism fantasy where the little guy gets to beat up his boss.
Hell yeah. The main thing I miss most about Chicago is they have amazing local scene. I've been able to see Tetsuya Naito in a tiny auditorium and Okada in a random IL suburb lol
Come out to these! I've had a great time every meeting I've attended. Madeleine is working hard and doing some really cool stuff
I love that another girl around these parts loves pro wrestling! I haven't watched in a few years, but I've just gotten back into it. Pro wrestling is important in historical moments like this one.
Good luck!

I am a luddite and to me there is a lot of joy in technology. In technology that we deploy for all our wellbeing. Solar panels and vaccines, high-speed rail and wikipedia.
But they joy stems from the feeling of being able to be part of humanity in an embedded, meaningful way. Not from buying shit.
