We sat down with different women connected to Migrant Help to discuss their experiences, impact and goals, highlighting both how women have shaped the charity and how Migrant Help has supported their careers.

It was this understanding that guided our decision to focus on the ‘Past, Present and Future’, creating a video that highlights the vital role women have played throughout Migrant Help’s journey — yesterday, today and in the years to come.
From an organisational perspective, this means providing meaningful career opportunities and continuing to invest in women across the workplace.
As you are probably aware, yesterday was International Women’s Day (IWD), with this year’s being ‘Give to Gain’, highlighting that when people, organisations and communities give support, share knowledge and challenge bias, everyone benefits.

Courage is different from person to person, but at Migrant Help we witness extreme amounts of courage every single day. The strength, bravery and resilience shown by those rebuilding lives stolen from them—often in the most challenging of circumstances—never fails to take our breath away.

Sir Quentin Blake — the beloved cartoonist, caricaturist, illustrator and children’s writer — has illustrated over 300 books, including nearly 20 by Roald Dahl. Now, his bright and playful drawings will be bringing this year’s Simple Acts campaign to life!
