GrowN22 is back to work after the festive break! Today, we started clearance works on behalf of Haringey Council to prepare the new Eat Wood Green balcony 🌱🌿

We've got a new electric cargo bike for Xmas! The bike provides sustainable transport on the Hackney Buzzline. We're also using it to manage @hackneycouncil.bsky.social street parklets as pollinator havens, working with @grown22.com. Thanks @zeroemissions.bsky.social & @heritagefunduk.bsky.social

Beautiful evening spent with the squirrels and beavers youth groups of Wood Green Scouts. The 🐿️&🦫 we’re not only excited but extremely creative in making Christmas decorations out of foraged materials found in the wild. The decorations will be placed on the scouts Xmas tree next week 🎄

Tonight we will be entertaining the Beavers and Squirrels groups of Wood Green Scouts @16thWood. The scouts have spent the past few weeks foraging for materials and will start making nature themed Christmas decorations for the scout halls Christmas Tree and earn badges 🎄#PostcodeGardenerWoodGreen

Back down to Bruce Grove Youth Centre and Halesmere Children’s home to carry out winter maintenance on the gardens 🌱🌿

GrowN22 has hired a Postcode Gardener for Wood Green N22 and today we went on a walk about to review some of the nominated sites in the Wood Green area.
