Higher rates. Less leverage. Higher entry multiples. 🔪 🖐️

Lost some fingers in a few financial names but thankfully no limbs have been taken. Sizing is everything.

I dunno for sure but think the fact that BX employees (mostly senior ppl & MDs) stepped up and filled the liquidity hole with $150mm+ is a positive thing. The have visibility into the portfolio and are not known for being stupid with their own capital.

The private credit funds I've looked at all have about 5-7% of their portfolios in a liquidity sleeve for general liquidity purposes (redemptions) and the average life of a 5-7 year loan is closer to 3 years due to prepayments & refis. But yes, I own too many Alts Mgr stocks so I'm still sad

I need to be in Elko, NV next week. Flying from BUR to EKO is almost $1000 more than just flying to SLC and renting a car for a 3 hour drive. Delta is a master of the shakedown.

I stick with guided tours when skiing new terrain. I don't trust myself enough and want someone skilled around in case something goes wrong.

Agree. It’s tough and people want to push limits especially when chasing powder. We’re on our way back to the Ruby Mountains next week. Can’t wait.
