With the recent reveal that they used GenAI on that site, is it really worth it?

Fair enough! It's really a fun game on its own though! I still wholeheartedly recommend it!

This is where I am going to plug playing DQB2 if anyone hasn't already. It's FANTASTIC and only loosely follows actual Dragon Quest 2 lore. Don't have to know a thing about it other than like mini medals and general lore that there's an otherworldly evil priest named Hargon in that game!

I also disagree with that. It's Minecraft-ish in that the blocks are cuboid, but that's really about it. The requirement for rooms to to be two blocks tall to count as a room? DQB. Varying rooms with varying NPC owners? DQB. Even the water physics are like DQB's than being infinite like Minecraft.

It's basically Dragon Quest Builders 3 for all intents and purposes. It's NOT EVEN REMOTELY like Animal Crossing in gameplay!

I know it's *similar* to Animal Crossing and it's vibrant, cute, and colorful, but Pokopia is not INSPIRED by Animal Crossing. It's got more in common with Dragon Quest Builders (especially 2) than New Horizons ever had.

The bad comparisons are not keeping me away from it though! It looks peak!

Oh yeah, and she's one of those lazy students who "consults" Google and ChatGPT for everything. I can't with that kind of behavior, so I've reached out to my professor and his supervisor. No response yet, but I don't imagine it'll be favorable towards me...the supervisor hasn't EVER responded to me!

This group project has been an awful experience. We lost a member because they actually were placed in the wrong class (and we didn't find out till week 7 out of 8!), and now the leader is foisting the rest of the work on me and refuses to help with any general troubleshooting. It's absolutely nuts!

Today has been a day. Got told off not just by my parents for FWA stuff, but also one of my group project members in college, who has also thrown out all my code and expects me to relearn/redo the entirety of the code that she did which I know exactly negative five facts about JavaScript.
