I often find it helpful to have Claude generate ASCII diagrams of the UI in its plan file. Itโs not always perfect but it does help with checking its understanding on what Iโm looking for.

It boggles my mind that thereโs a segment of the economy that thrives on people forgetting to cancel subscriptions
How is this sustainable in the long run?
Thanks!
I went down a similar rabbit hole with Space Grotesk and Space Mono when I recently redesigned mine too. Ultimately decided against Space Mono for code snippets since I read it was designed to be used as a display font.
Introducing chartli ๐

I wanted terminal charts with zero setup. No browser, no Python env, no matplotlib. Pipe numbers in, get a chart out.
Again built it my coding taste using Command Code.
Somehow this wasnโt on my bingo card

My wife learned this the hard way. I ainโt complaining though ๐

Thereโs a lot of tooling being built around getting coding agents to ingest the appropriate context needed for completing tasks. Is there any similar work on getting them to forget stuff that might not be relevant?
So glad I bought some hard drives for my NAS over the winter holidays ๐ฎโ๐จ

It only makes me wonder if AI will ever be commoditized to the point where people can run models on their own devices instead of the cloud.
I still keep forgetting about the jump from iOS 18 to iOS 26. ๐ตโ๐ซ
What would I do in a situation like this?
If I were just starting my career, I'd be listening to everything. I'd bet on the future and hedge on the fundamentals. I'd pick the most popular agentic coding tool and go all in. I'd hedge that bet by learning the fundamentals of software development.
Loving the design of your website for this ๐คฉ
Case in point from the article:
โEngineers increasingly found themselves coaching colleagues who were โvibe-codingโ and finishing partially complete pull requests. This oversight often surfaced informallyโin Slack threads or quick desk-side consultationsโadding to engineersโ workloads.โ

โThe โclearly labeledโ ads will appear in a separate area beneath your chat, OpenAI announced last month.โ
Interestingโฆ Thatโs usually where companies start before they eventually make the ads hard to differentiate from the actual content that users want.

Iโve been feeling the fatigue as well. Itโs almost like drinking from a firehose, especially when working on a larger project.

Feels like it wasnโt that long ago when folks were freaking out over Deepseek.
Crypto apologists would just claim that these just happen to be on sale ๐
Seeing quite a few folks pointing out that Opus 4.6 regressed on its SWE-bench score compared to Opus 4.5.
I read a lot of stuff about benchmarks the last couple months and Iโm pretty sure it means nothing. Itโs a test of how well models solve small Python bugs, mostly from Django.
There's a free $50 credit for Claude Code Pro and Max users if you had previously enabled extra usage.

Heard about Penpot here and there but didnโt know itโs now a worthwhile replacement for Figma. Definitely need to check it out.
