I believe your couldn't use slots without shadow dom.
I believe your couldn't use slots without shadow dom.
What about mutation observer and connected callback? Has a situation improved? I'm aware you can do it manually but Stimulus has this built in.
Also is shadow Dom still required? That was another thing I didn't like when trying to build re-usable headless components.
Nice! Can I ask you a question about background sync? What approach do you use for it? Is it a completely separate process that is launched separately from main Rails server?
Looking forward to the blog post!
No worries, I totally understand. We'll definitely keep a spot for you next time - it'd be amazing to have you with us!
We are having Ruby meetup a day earlier in Cracow. It's not very far away from Vienna. Would you like to visit us? I'd love to have you on stage 😊
Everyone is talking about #omarchy , but if you are not ready to switch to Arch or too comfortable with GNOME, you can try my opinionated tiling setup for GNOME. It's distro-agnostic, so it works any distro:

Enjoy!
Nexus line was cool! I had Nexus 4 then 5X :)
Good to hear that 10 Pro works great for you! Just need to wait for a good deal then. Thanks!
I'm a Pixel fan myself (currently still rocking 7), thinking about upgrading to 10 but have read bad reviews where they complain about battery life, performance, video quality etc.
Love to hear about your experience.
Excellent summary. I was never a fan of Sorbet but I really like the approach you took with Literally. I even opened the small PR!
Would you like to give a talk about Hanami on one of the KRUG meetups?
Come too visit us!
I've been active reader of your blog for quite long time. Great content and I love the post about parslet gem - we are using it on production thanks to your article. I need to buy you a few drinks for that 🍻.
KRUG #4 is back! 💎
Join us on Oct 28 at 18:00 at Zendesk Kraków.
We’ve got a great lineup of talks - from the Decider Pattern, through a PostgreSQL-to-SQLite migration, to lessons on managing gem upgrades and building mobile apps the Rails way.
RSVP 👉 luma.com/se3qppbl
See you there! 🚀
This looks fantastic and I'd love to give it a try. Would you mind sending the access code? Thanks so much!
What's the best way to learn about some new concept? Building a project using it! Recently, I've been interested in MCP servers, so I built one with Ruby (and `fast-mcp` gem). It allows you to query HackerNews (as what else can you do on Friday 😅).

I'm still switching between NeoVim and Zed but here are my settings and keymaps:

No worries at all. Hope you feel better soon. Take it easy.
How is it going so far? Also, is the pro plan generous enough with its prompt limit? Do you know if it switches to simpler models like Cursor after reaching the limit?
Join our next KRUG meetup, powered by @rubycentral.org & Fastly, with venue support from Forte Digital

I'm glad you found it useful!
Good spot👌. Fixed!
Another idea inspired by the Ash Framework book: my journey into the pin operator and macros in #Elixir.
Check it out: www.mendelowski.com/blog/2025/03...
I'm not an Elixir expert, so I welcome feedback from more experienced Elixir folks. Hope you enjoy it!
That sounds awesome. I'm looking forward to it!
How is Zed so far? I personally moved to Cursor but still miss good old days with Neovim and tmux...
Hey @chastell.net, @tomash.eu mentioned that you were able to configure AI assistant in Vim (NeoVim?). Can you share your setup? Were you able to replicate VSCode / Cursor experience in applying changes from chat window to source files (Composer like behavior)?
Mine is only 278 with style of posting described as "Reply Guy" 😄. Social status: "Highly Engaging Explorer" with exceptionally high engagement, averaging 2.6 engagements per post across their follower base of 48.
Thanks for sharing the website, it's cool to see such summary!
Recently, I started reading the "Ash Framework" book. While building the example app, I spotted an area for improvement - leading to my first-ever contribution to the 🧪 Elixir ecosystem!
My changes to @ash-hq.org and `ash_postgres` are ready for release! 🚀

That’s so kind of you.

What editor is that? How did you enable Prism for syntax checks? Thanks!
