a sentiment i've seen that i agree with is that we should just let each other know when that shit shows up and not belittle people for "falling for it." it's too pervasive and the vast majority of people are just scrolling through feeds and not analyzing every aspect of every image in the firehose

it makes sense both from the standpoint of lowering the quality to make it harder to notice as well as them just having access to *so* much security footage to train on. which. that's a bit upsetting for even more reasons now that i think about it lol
