I've always had trouble arguing for more gun control because the "good guy with a gun" story is compelling in a hypothetical scenario. I really hope those 2A folks are seeing how the good guys with guns are being treated right now and fight through the cognitive dissonance.

A big part of the story here is that women like Renee Good are braver and stronger than they could have ever imagined and that just doesn't fit with what MAGA men tell themselves about how gender works. It just does not compute.

The gun was removed by agents from his waistband - he was never pointing it at them. He was already disarmed when they fired "defensive shots," killing the man. They then fired several shots at his lifeless body.
