Vancouver's Car Free Day is cancelled for 2026 and might never come back. Bad news for Main, Denman and Commercial businesses. But good news for cars and their people.

that is decidedly distressing.. havent lived in Vancouver for almost as long as i lived there.. but, for the bakers dozen in years i did.. i was 100% a cycle commuter 24-7/ 52.. and i loved carfree days .. sad sad news

sadly, they never got farther than samples and test shoots.. no traction/ sales and now the materials i used to paint the shirts arent available any longer so i cant even paint them up. but, if i figure a way i'll let you know especially if you'd wear some for test shoot/ marketing materials ;)

been in awe.. i remember one night in Banff, a GF of mine and I walked hand in hand toward the train station (a cool place in and of its own right).. we walked in awe, then lay down head to head under a cone of aurora borealis activity.. literally conical in shape & activity right above our heads.
