His petulance, raving at random people and things are not ‘strategy’ they are not ‘brilliant’ they are clear signs of a man in serious mental decline. His clear lack of understanding of the very basic functions of our Constitution, flouting our laws, ignoring judicial orders are bad enough, but wondering aloud to an audience whether he could appoint himself as Chairman of the Federal Reserve is bizarre to say the least. He has long shows symptoms of dementia: Slurred speech, unsteady when walking, inability to remember names, places, and complete inability to answer complex questions or answering them incorrectly are alarming. The President of the United States is an office that is complex, requires adherence to detail, and a knowledge of the law and operations of our government. The President must also be able to listen to advisors with knowledge he may not have, like any executive position. Trump exhibits a disturbing lack of knowledge of anything, domestic, foreign policy, or the industries the government interacts with. By now you also know that the repeated actions of President Trump since he took office are a direct assault on American democracy. Where did he get these ideas? Cable TV Hosts? Domestic Terrorists? The drunk man at the end of a bar? He’s attacked every institution he doesn’t like, and allowing himself to be easily manipulated into various illegal actions by billionaires like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, campaign donors and foreign leaders. This is dangerous, and it’s time to start calling it out and assembling the evidence right now. The most egregious signs of a mind unhinged is a serious lack of responsibility for his actions: By encouraging a violent mob to storm the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overturn the results of a free and fair election, he has demonstrated a blatant disregard for the Constitution he swore to uphold. This is just one example of a disturbing dereliction of duty. It poses a clear and present danger to the nation. The 25th Amendment provides a lawful means to address this crisis. It really doesn’t matter who starts the declaration, it COULD come from Congress: It notes Congress as part of the co-equal function to invoke the Disability Clause. While the 25th Amendment's removal procedures are untested in such an extreme scenario, the present circumstances necessitate its judicious application to preserve constitutional order and reaffirm the inviolable principles our republic was founded upon. I urge you to work with fellow members and leaders of the House and Senate, Cabinet members and the Vice President to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove this man from office.
