if only the design of 26 didn’t make me anxious
Got it done, voting sticker and everything! Woo!
shit i didn't know it was election day
Tangled stock up five billion percent
I'm actually interested in getting one of these. Do you have any clue if it matters whether it's the "Meshtastic" version or not?
not with that attitude
It's a good tool for occasional "I can't be bothered to write this myself" situations. I haven't gotten value out of it otherwise.
No record is guaranteed to exist. You could create a new lexicon for this data, and you'd still face the same issue.
If privacy is a concern, use separate accounts. I think having multiple profiles on the same account is likely to be misleading about how isolated they are.
"At least 7 years of experience using generative AI coding tools"
sure yeah because people like that exist
I think it's perfectly fine to use app.bsky.actor.profile. It already exists and accomplishes what most things need. Data beyond that is just another record.
shoutout tesla
Running some radio station in Iran through Google Translate, it managed to pick up "The dictator no longer exists" so there's some backing to that
My computer is connected to the entire world, yet it is mostly silent? Absurd.
Step 1: Conceptualize — When designing new icons, sketch ideas with pen and paper. Example: a hand-drawn sketch for the Windows XP My Pictures icon: [photo of sketch depicting a photograph of mountains partially inserted into an open folder]
Thinking about UI design stuff
Yep, social-app (The main Bluesky app) cuts down longer URLs to about 30 characters with a "..." at the end, like this: www.reddit.com/r/YouFellFor...
the people crave twitter, i'm sorry
While the social angle is what ATProto was made for, the ID and storage parts alone are a big deal. You could make a video game and store saves on a player's PDS, getting easy cloud sync without having to run your own server to manage any part of it.
I'm building on atproto because I think that a single social network has essentially no shot of dethroning the current tech monopolies. But an open ecosystem of interoperating apps is so infinitely more interesting than legacy social that it seems almost inevitable it will win
A search interface with tabs labeled "Emoji," "Icons," and "Upload," with "Emoji" selected. A search bar contains the text "moose" and displays a magnifying glass icon on the left and a clear (X) button on the right. To the right of the search bar are two buttons: one with a shuffle icon and another showing a waving hand emoji. Below the search bar, the message "No results" is displayed, followed by a button labeled "+ Add emoji." Above the interface, a large red question mark is visible in the center. The background is white.
I wanted to make a Notion page, but now I've roped myself into learning how this OpenAI API works.
For real though, this Aether OS thing is really cool! Glad I took a moment to play with it.
"deckard" is a fun name for a bluesky client within a is-but-also-isn't operating system
shoutout @montoulieu.dev for putting big chungus in my atproto repo

Three bunnies play on a small miniature golf course, going over an artificial stream. One bunny chases their ball over the bridge, while another waits to put. The third bunny laments that their ball fell into the stream.
Daily bunny no.3242 is par for the course
Lugged the Bambu up to my desk, and I have to say: Wall storage has never looked so appetizing.
It's the ideal way to develop web applications.
Or as I've taken to calling it, ATProto + Bluesky
what is this atrocity where is my uswds
Interesting. Dug around a little, and apparently OpenClaw has a setting to have it do what I described.
A dark-themed interface displaying a list of commands with green circular icons containing the letter "K". The commands listed include "/usage" for viewing usage footer or cost summary, "/stop" for stopping the current run (highlighted in blue, indicating selection), "/restart" for restarting OpenClaw, and "/activation" partially visible at the bottom. Each command has a brief description next to it.
I don't understand why almost none of these AI things chaining actions don't read in user messages until after the current thing has finished running. Either way, I'm surprised she didn't try the "stop" command.
