Yep. Forgiveness should only be forgiven after true atonement - and the more harm has been caused, the longer they have to atone before earning that forgiveness. And some never will be forgiven by certain people, and that's okay. That's life.

I should clarify: When I say "I don't agree," I'm not saying they're wrong to feel that way, simply that I wouldn't do the same in that situation. But I'm not queer. So it would be wrong for me to tell queer people how to feel about or respond to their oppressors. Same for you.

I don't agree with the refusal to work with them, but also, you can't tell marginalized people how they should feel. Queer people are under attack right now. I can understand why someone might not be able to forgive. That deserves grace, too.

It's been a very frustrating and challenging week, personally (thanks, Mercury retrograde!). Silver lining is that I have channeled that frustration into cleaning and purging, so I now have bags of clothes to donate and have finally gotten rid of things I've been holding onto for far too long.

Any American rooting for this war or who thinks we'll easily wipe the floor with Iran is either a.) not paying attention to how it's been going so far, and b.) has never looked at a map of Iran, or as I like to call it, "'Lol Fuck Your Ground Game' Mountain Land."

It would be worse. Iran has a much better military, better strategy, and a mountainous terrain that will make the guerrilla fighting in Afghanistan and Vietnam look like a breeze.
