Yep, and locally (as they started near Aberdeen) there are people that still defend them, even with the stories that have come out over years, recent news (with the "equity punks" getting nothing), etc. 🤦

Reminds me of everyone trying to sell all the Queen Elizabeth coins and the King Charles coins a few years back thinking they'd be worth more than their actual value... scary thing is there's probably people who'd buy them!

Wonder if this version of Captain Marvel is still around in modern Marvel universe? Great character!

Wish they hadn't retconned all this in 2000s with Parrallax being a seperate entity who had posessed Hal Jordon.

Understand why they did it, however resurrecting Hal Jordon and having him deal with what he did here would have made for some more interesting storylines.

Have a few of them picked up as back issues many years later... interesting how they list the artist first, and then the writer!

I plan to catch up on the current series of Call The Midwife! #WeekendWatching

Brought them before as Home Bargains had them for a while... those ones are just bigger versions of their normal ones. Amazing how words can be put on labels, sold as a different product, etc.! Have them instead of chocolate bars. 😀🍫

Very true! Although I guess it seems brief compared to the John Byrne run a few years before, and the Defalco/Ryan run afterwards.

Enjoyed Defalco on FF, however wish we'd seen more Simonson FF!! 😀

I mostly remember its successor, Marvel Vision! Those magazines where great.

Also, loved Walter Simonson's brief FF run.
