A dense cluster of Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) plants in full growth, their jagged-edged leaves and tiny green flower clusters prominently visible. The serrated, pointed leaves form a layered texture, while the slender stems are covered with fine hairs that can sting when touched. The image captures the vitality and lush green color of the nettles, indicating their thriving state in a natural or garden setting.

The sting? It’s part of her medicine. And yes, it disappears when she’s dried, brewed, or steamed.

A cup of nettle tea or a bowl of tender greens is pure, earthy goodness. Your body will thank you.

A quote graphic on a muted green background with illustrations of stinging nettle plants in the bottom corners. The text, in white serif font, reads:

“The stinging nettle is such a good fellow and does not deserve the contempt with which we often look down on it where it grows wild in Nature.

It should really grow around man’s heart, for in the world outside — in its marvelous inner working and inner organisation — it is wonderfully similar to what the heart is in the human organism. The stinging nettle is the greatest boon.

~ Rudolf Steiner ~“

Though sometimes dismissed as a weed or overlooked by science, Nettle shows up again and again in herbal lore—and in nearly every herb book on my shelves.

She’s a plant of resilience, vitality, and deep nourishment.

Nettle. 🌿

A beloved favorite among herbalists. Rich in vitamins and minerals. Celebrated in kitchens and healing traditions for centuries.

She may sting, but once you know her, she softens.

There is much to be done in this time, but always there is work to be done…always the world is both beautiful & troubling. Always there is peace & war somewhere in the world, a battle being fought either within us or without. Together we are a mighty force, and together we can weather these storms…
