Life update🌱
- had some bad surprises when applying for/moving into the new house
- new job at a new firm, new people and environment
- last-minute IT work for a big furcon

All things are slowly calming down, so am I.
The past months were super stressfull and I’m very grateful

The work on some projects, like for a big European convention, then took all my time after work due to their deadlines (the registration)

People who know me are aware, that I do nothing light hearted. I put all my heart and soul into my work. Drawing, Programming, you name it.

The amount of papers I had to provide, or even request at first. The amount of different services I had to call and make appointments for. It’s a lot easier in Germany, not only because of the language barrier but in Germany, many contracts are automatic and you can change them if you want.

It was sadly nothing I could plan ahead, around the same time, I started a new job and despite having many many years of experience in the field, it drew all my energy for weeks, making me instantly fall asleep from exhaustion. Then short after, we planned a move and…it’s very difficult in France…

*boop*

All urgent topics are coming to an end in the next few weeks, if I feel ready or not.

This will finally give me some free time again, allowing me to continue to draw..

I‘m really sorry for all my supporters who‘re waiting for updates and I have a plan how to make the wait worth while :3

I hope so too ^^ turns out moving from an appartement into a house in France involves a ton of extra steps and expenses x.x

And then after you can pack (and encrypt) your files and move them automatically to a cloud storage of your choice to have redundancy in case of a fire / theft etc

Oh ^^ Basically saying there are HDDs that are reviewed by the manufacturer with warranty and only cost a fraction. You can put these in a custom or used NAS which both might be cheaper and more user-friendly if compared to multiple external harddrives since you won’t have to switch between them

You could also get a JBOD or ~200$ for a NAS and then some factory recertified hdds from WD or seagate. And then you just push an (encrypted) backup of your local data to the cloud

Thought about it but I‘d prefer something with a tail ^^“

I‘m thinking about creating an OC that I gonna use for (stinky) art that I gonna draw in the future and it mustn’t be an otter.

I thought about:

- Serval
- Ringtail / Raccoon
