One-panel cartoon of an ancient Roman guy wearing a tunic and laurels recoiling in alarm from a sheet cake with three cardboard tubes stuck in it, which shoot explosive fireworks all over the room. A banner at the top of the frame reads "HAPPY XXXVIIIth BIRTHDAY"

A little behind on posting, so here are some foggy views of #Pittsburgh from a few weeks ago. The fog was amazing how it just sat on the river, giving the city this eerie yet beautiful vibe. Eventually it engulfed the city, but not before I captured these.
Back of a trading card that features a very late-90s assortment of CGI vegetables and fruits swirling around the logo for Frutoids, set in zanily-warped 3D Futura with a glossy apple as an O. Beneath the logo is the subtitle "ASCENDERS OF THE PYRAMID" and the tagline "NUTRITION IS POWER!"
Front of the card, featuring the Frutoid "Tomatoid Trio": a vine-conjoined set of three cool cartoon tomatoes, who are seen in the key art sort of floating in a mysterious green void with the shadow of the food pyramid looming in the background. The card reads that their HP is 120, their Vitamins are 80, and their Power is 65. It also has the text: "FRUTOID FACTOID: These bite-size brothers always have each other's backs, through thick sauce or thin. TRUE FOOD FACT: Tomatoes are rich in Vitamin C, Potassium, and Lycopene, which promotes heart health." In the left corner is an inset illustration of Tomatoid Trio's weapon, "KETCHUKS" (two bottles of ketchup attached together like nunchuks), which have 30 power and 2 speed.
Extremely rare near-mint card from "Frutoids: Ascenders of the Pyramid" (2001)

We cannot and should not let generative AI take away these tiny, insignificant, but probably fun as hell jobs from artists
this was a class assignment and I ended up using a tiny jigsaw blade taped to a pencil to cut the pretzels into the right shapes. I inhaled a lot of crumbs

Wait I was just goofing around this looks sick
it's a bummer when games with interesting visuals and soundtracks lock them up behind a genre of gameplay that doesn't interest me. there should be a game that looks exactly as compelling and innovative as Marathon but is about shooting a small ball at an assortment of pegs to score points
