Opus 4.6 is wild at adjusting to you. I know you probably want this markdown so here you go. You don’t read walls of text and ignore most questions. Got it.
Kimi K2.5 is a crazy powerful and cheap AI model. I’m impressed
Claude: “I was going to recommend Notion but from memory you described it as Ass Paper”
That still feels like a compliment to Notion
Opus needs Swift fine-tuning really bad. Not recommended. Bugs everywhere. It might be a lack of knowledge with iOS26
Turning off macOS sandbox mode for a personal app was so satisfying
This song is incredible
Open-sourced my SWIFT S3, a macOS and iOS music app. A self-hosted music streaming app. github.com/terrillo/rav...
I gave Opus 4.5 a hard problem. It changed my pytest to match the bad result. 😑
Home Screen / everything needs more color
Excited to plan how I want shuffle to work. Top 100 songs just like that.
The whole point is to spend time designing a music app and not trying to code this in Swift. The time/value can be done somewhere else. The Mac and iOS apps were built in about 3hrs. 1 hour of straight iCloud prompting. Already better than Apple Music on the Mac.
Vibe coded my way to a music app that uploads and downloads music from S3. The basic version worked like a charm. I added iCloud support to sync music plays between Mac and iOS. It fell on its face. It needed a lot of technical guidance. I refuse to look at that code 😂
Open Source could be the way
I think I might try vibe coding a personal music app with s3 and offline support. This is not a viable business. This would be a huge personal accomplishment. I buy all my music and use Plex Amp at the moment.
A sober bartender is wild. Please switch jobs!
My all day event tomorrow!
I feel really really old wearing skinny jeans in NYC. I’m also okay with that.
Bruh. What are you comparing to?? I only gave it data for one period and explicitly stated don’t compare to anything. Apple Intelligence is ass. #buildinpublic #iosdev
It might be time to finally upgrade my M1 MacBook Air. The CPU is currently at 95% usage while running SwiftUI previews.
NYC 🗽
New brand incoming for new Health app. Colors, logo, & vision. Chef’s kiss. #buildinpublic
NYC all next week. The best city. 🏙️🗽❤️
I’ve been diligently working on this sleep app. It feels great to be involved in the quantified self space that I’ve been passionate about since my teenage years. I’m fully committed to this development, and the feedback I’ve received has been incredibly positive. ❤️🔥
I added this toggle to disable “Apple Intelligence” than later commented out the Foundation Model code. The on device models really sucks. Maybe it’s better with tools. #iosdev #buildinpublic
New sleep signals and patterns for beta 4. #iosdev #buildinpublic
You can't disable "Apple Intelligence" in the Similutor? Bruh. #iosdev
I’m at Times Square, where an emergency “No War On Venezuela” protest just took to the street. Easily a thousand people here in real-feel 20°F weather.
“No more coups, no more wars, Venezuela’s not yours!”
“No boots on the ground no bombs in the air, U.S. out of everywhere!”
