Planetscale offers servers from $5 up to $1510 for the 32 core 256 gb ram beast.
The 1 cpu 8gb ram options seems to be really competitive in that segment, would strongly consider this for my next project!

Added @planetscale.com PostgreSQL as a provider on saasprices.net/db
Looks like we have a new strong contender, they have nice prices for storage and egress and comes in as the cheapest option for some heavy egress use cases!
Others charge egress costs so if you move alot of data then Railway will be a good option.
Added @railway.com S3 block storage to SaaSPrices
The newcomer surprises with coming in as the 2nd cheapest option in our calculators medium preset. No egress costs can potentially push them to being the cheapest option based on your use case!

Xata tripled the cost of database storage, but cut the compute cost drastically. Egress costs are the same.
Xata postgresql database provider is removing their free tier Xata Lite π’
But they are updating their prices, their paid plans are actually cheaper than before and they are more competitive now.

I'll fix that later today.
Thanks for letting me know!
I've made a cost calculator for serverless hosting, it's pretty cheap.
saasprices.net/hosting
Will add edge requests soon
I find your pricing page a bit vague, is it true that we are billed $25 for every new 125k functions exceeding the free quota of 125k calls?
So that on the starter plan 375.001 function calls would cost $50?
Added the serverless function hosting category to SaaS Prices
Now comparing prices for theses providers:
Google, AWS Lambda, Microsoft, @cloudflare.social, Genezio, @digitalocean.com, @vercel.com and @netlify.com
Image is showing very high traffic, but it really shows the difference in providers
Looking to add some of them via Amazon. Not all have hosted instances available via apis
Google Gemini pro 1.5 free tier has 50 free request per day, with max 32k tokens per min. Thats like $1.5.
The paid tier is paid from first token

Makes me so happy that people find this useful π

I made an error in some of the calculations, the blog post and the calculator site has been updated with the correct results.
Amazon tripled the prices for their auth service AWS Cognito
With the new tier system they only offer 10k free users per month, and every user above that costs $0.015
The old plans had 50k free users and excess users cost $0.0055
This is almost a triple price! #aws

I found the academy a bit lacking last I used it, maybe 6 months ago. I got a better understanding using the larger sample repos back then
