I accidentally misspelled Godot today as GDOOT and couldn't resist. @godotengine.org has anyone made this terrible joke before? #godot #godotengine

Ugh, I hadn't even considered this as a side effect of using AI to code.
Haha, yeah that's very fair π¬
Unity out there solving the big, important game development problems like "there just aren't enough casual games being made quickly enough" and "app discovery is too strong with so few options to choose from"
Good lord
Reading this while I'm sitting here, at 4:16pm on a Saturday thinking "I wish I had been more productive with this day. I should go get something done."
You win this round, Dora... π

The cover art for Alblune's the Spirit & the Mouse OST. It show the titular mouse, Lila, looking up into the night sky from the rooftop as a sleepy French village spans before her. The stylised title of the game is centred at the top and I've added my own imagesβa blue Steam completion badge at the top-left and 4.5 gold stars on the bottom-left, underneath which is a quote within the game stating "how can you be so small, yet so courageous..."
Rating: 4.5 out of 5 The Spirit and the Mouse had been on my wishlist for quite a while but for some reason that I cannot explain, it took me until December 2025 to finally take the plunge and purchase it...and what a decision it was. On its face, TS&TM plays to me like the old platformers of the PS1 era. The premise is simple, you play as Lila and use the powers that she receives to help bring joy to the humans of Sainte-et-Claire. There is no combat here; it's all about running, climbing, searching and squeaking to find collectibles and bring back some joy to the quiet little French town. It's a cozy game in every sense of the word-from the relaxing, stereotypically French music to the wholesome (and humorous) interactions with the humans and kibblins of Sainte-et-Claire-and just based on this, I would recommend Alblune's charming little gem. The ENDING, though...I do not know if it was simply a case of "playing the right game at the right time" but I did NOT expect to be so profoundly affected by it; I openly and unabashedly sobbed. It was such an overwhelmingly beautiful conclusion to a game that I thought was just going to be a few hours of cute fun, and when the credits finished rolling and Lila once again appeared on my menu screen, I found that I've grown to love and admire that little mouse with her big, beautiful heart. "How can [she] be so small, yet so courageous..." Thank you, Alblune. For giving us the chance to experience Lila's story and for showing us that if a little mouse can strive to bring kindness and love into her little town, we can do the same on an even larger scale. My #review for @alblune.bsky.social's the Spirit & the Mouse (2022). ππ«
I never expected to be so deeply affected by this game going in...I feel that current events may have contributed to that.
Thank you, Lila, for reaching me with your message of kindness & love when I was wallowing in despair.
It makes me very happy that you're writing again :)
A post by c.a.t.y.a.y that reads, "I wonder what my art could've been if I didn't quit". Iggy responds, "I wonder what it will be if you start again"
Going into 2026, a reminder for everyone who's fallen off the creative wagon, game dev, writing, art, music, whatever, no matter how long:
Looking for something fun to do this holiday season...?

Why, English? Why.
Raised - built up
Razed - torn down
Possibly. Iβll get back to you later today.
If you can't switch to Linux (there are plenty of valid reasons why people can't - Linux dweebs in my mentions get hidden/blocked, fair warning), I highly recommend "Shut Up Win10++"
It lets you control a lot of settings that Windows 10/11 buries and obfuscates.
