Following the recent escalation of hostilities in the Middle East, the Magen David Adom (MDA) has mobilized staff and volunteers across the country. Teams are treating and evacuating affected people to hospitals and transferring bedridden and ventilated patients to protected locations.

In the current circumstances, the protection of humanitarian workers remains essential to ensure they can safely carry out their humanitarian mission.

The IFRC is following closely and is deeply concerned about the recent escalation of hostilities in the Middle East.
