The legislation Iβm proposing tackles the housing crisis on multiple fronts:
βοΈ Preventing corporate investors from jacking up prices
βοΈ Addressing homelessness and housing instability, and
βοΈ Finding creative ways to increase housing availability.
Because a healthy PA begins with a healthy home.

Civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson was a tireless champion for equality, dignity and justice. It was an absolute honor to meet him during his visit the PA State Capitol in 2024. May his legacy continue to inspire us to speak truth to power and fight for a brighter, fairer future for all.

Governor Shapiroβs new Housing Action Plan lays out concrete steps to bring down housing costs, expand housing availability, and protect renters across our Commonwealth.

"Nearly 500,000 Pennsylvanians are seeing their health insurance premiums double this year because Congress failed to act.
Of that 500,000, over 85,000 Pennsylvanians have already dropped health insurance in just the first four weeks of this year because of those cost increases." - @governor.pa.gov
