How do we get to more than just three web engines owned by three US companies?
It's a gargantuan question, with no easy or right answer.
I've put together a draft report, thinking about it through a very specific approach - please enjoy:

Sprinter train stopped on platform.
A rare sighting in the wild: a regional Dutch train thinking itβs going to London.
Atproto Amsterdam happened!
We solved private data AND payments, and also digital credentials trust chains and also moderation and games too.
Wait, no we just had a great three hours of chatting about atproto (mostly).
Thanks @internetarchive.eu for hosting us!
I really like the form triggering the email. I have a link to send the email but pre filled content is genius.

Nice! Thanks :D
Cool tool! I've recently implemented standard.site support on my website (hacdias.com), but I noticed it doesn't seem to be getting indexed by Standard Search. It shows up on other platforms (e.g. leaflet, docs.surf, etc). Any idea why?

Dearest gentle reader, the sun is high, the skies are bright, and a new iced coffee season is upon us π§.

Some weeks ago, I added support for @standard.site to my website, and it's very nice to see that more and more platforms are getting support for it.
new blog post on permissioned data in atproto! this one introduces "buckets", the protocol-level primitive for shared access control. I walk through two approaches that don't quite work and land on something that I think does
let me know your thoughts!
We are working on a Discovery page on Margin where you can find new reads on the Atmosphere using @standard.site π

Please share once you get a link :D
For my fellow internationals: chances are you can also vote. If you're an EU citizen, you're allowed to vote in the municipal elections from day 1. If you're from outside of the EU, you are allowed to vote after living 5 years in The Netherlands.
Don't throw away your stempas, go vote!
Amazing!
February is now ending, and that means taking a look back at all of what happened. It was such a busy, yet fulfilling, month.
Wrote a mini-essay, "Digital Topology & Economic Power", on how the file went from a site of user agency to one of enclosure β through proprietary formats, data internalization, then the cloud. Each step bundling real gains with a quiet transfer of power.

Yess, keep me in the loop. Reasonably free next week.
Went to the deep part of the swimming pool today during the lessons for the first time! A bit scary, but went well! π

Yeah, I just saw! That's cool. I will take a look at it over the weekend.
At least @bookhive.buzz's Lexicons are fully open source, so I might take a look at how to import my gigantic YAML some time soon! π
@popfeed.social's lexicons are nowhere to be found, so I've been hesitant. I could just infer them from the records, but I'd rather be able to look at the real thing.
They mentioned having potential open sourcing plans, but haven't heard anything since.
