It's true that moderation tools are poor just from a technical perspective, but what is even worse is that they are being built by folks who do not respect diverse culture.

This has been a consistent theme for my entire 20+ years on the web.

Any attempt to argue against this is like pissing into the rain.

You CANNOT argue with this, you can’t have a conversation with this. It’s just impossible because there’s no shared discursive ground.
