βIn fifty years or so, itβs gonna change, yβknowβ¦β I canβt think of a more fitting lyric that encapsulates the hope and optimism I have for theatre and the treatment of those who create it. What a wonderful night of celebration and joy! π«
and to hear a resounding βYES!β from legendary humans who have lived through its cycles, is beyond anything I couldβve aspired. Not just as a performer, but as a person who simply wishes the best for our art form.
their sacrifices, their struggles, and the echoes of an industry that has, historically, given artists very little emotional and mental support. To be running a nonprofit that aims to change the landscape of the industry,
I had the pleasure of speaking with many dancers from the original and revival casts of Chicago β truthfully, their responses to the mission of BMHF made me emotional. Growing up as a dancer, you feel the reverberations of generations who have danced before β
Both D040 and @mentalhealthbway recognize the power of mental health care within communities of mature artists and dancers, and weβre proud to say that we are fully committed to the work of finally giving our performers the support they deserve!
What an honor it was to be invited to the 50th Anniversary of @chicagomusical! A big thank you to my friend @johnsefakis for creating a wonderful night of community and for all the work he does running @dancersover40official. πππ
BMHF will be attending the 50th Anniversary of Chicago tomorrow night at @54below.bsky.social β and representing mental health, while we're at it!
Weβre here to support the demographic of mature artists/dancers who need and deserve mental health care in our industry. Thanks to Dancers Over 40! π«π©

I cannot, for the life of me, stop watching Audraβs performance. And I tear up EVERY time?!?!
Aww, likewise! Sending belated wishes to you β€οΈ June is the BEST time of year to be born, in my opinion! π
βUse words that fulfill the true essence of who you are. Always lead with your compassion, with your love for other people. There is so much color waiting for you.β
π
Also worth mentioning 2+7 is my lucky number, my birthday, and my life path number. Something good is coming! π¦
βWhen I see your future from your soul β itβs lit up. Itβs stars in the sky, itβs bright, busy rooms, itβs rocketships. The challenge will be to allow this without getting in your own way. A big, gold star over your head. Always be as humble as you are today. Always say βyesβ to opportunities.β
Thereβs been a palpable shift within me over the last several months β clearing energy, preparing for big changes β and I canβt help but think of words a very, very wise woman said to me almost a decade ago.
My birthday landed on a Monday so I was lucky enough to visit the gardens this weekend (in the pouring rain) in honor of my 27th (!!! π€¨) year. I always feel 1,000 years old at the end of each yearβs cycle, but now, interestingly, Iβve never felt so young as well.
They never tell you how jarring it is to be recognized on the street for the first timeβ¦ in Times Square, of all places! But itβs so heartwarming to witness the reach of @mentalhealthbway.org in our community. π
Invited to the pre-Tonyβs performance of Smash!
Grateful to be represented in Print/Editorial, TV/Film, and Commercial by my dedicated, phenomenal agent and manager at @nymmg.
I am nowhere near Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald, or Kecia Lewis when it comes to βBroadway veteranβ status. But, unlike Patti, Iβm striving to be a white woman in this business who champions compassion and community. THAT is what will propel our art form well into the next century.
Not racism.
You are so kind! Thank you for yours! π«Άπ»
The spirit of Chita lit up the entire stage with the majesty of this art form we live and breathe β dance. Congratulations to Ben Vereen, the victors, the nominees, and the guest performers. Truly a special night! π«
Ben Vereen said it best in his Lifetime Achievement Award acceptance speech: the industry needs to change, and the future generations are going to see it through. BMHF believes in this shift and lives it every single day, planting seeds to grow a better, healthier, more empowering field for artists.
Mental health was represented at the Chita Rivera Awards last night! π§ π© What a privilege it was for @mentalhealthbway.org to attend danceβs biggest night and connect with so many who recognize the power mental health resources can have on our industry.
April flowers ended up bringing May showers, I fearβ¦
Shake Shackβ¦..you have bedeviled my Friday nights
Not a bad way to start your morningβ¦especially on International Dance Day!
A few behind-the-scenes moments from todayβs shoot with Katie Mollison (@kamerashoots.nyc) β the BEST!
I can feel her so deeply in the expression of my consciousness. She represents the metamorphosis from suffering to transcendence
β the pursuit and arduous journey to Love, in its many forms, that ultimately becomes a voyage to transformation.

psychology and psychic β two things I happen to have a lot of experience with. Her essence inspired my LLC, The PSYKHE Studio. The energy of Psykhe is truly the tapestry of my life.
Who I am as a creative, an artist, & a human is just me striving to embody my Psykhe in all ways possible.
