Last night, PA State Police Corporal Tim OβConnor was tragically killed in the line of duty. Corporal OβConnor dedicated his life to protecting our communities. Our thoughts are with Corporal O'Connor's loved ones and his colleagues at the PA State Police during this time.

Read my most recent Op-Ed with Bree Hood in the @phillytrib.bsky.social. Our children in the juvenile justice system need stronger protections. It's time PA does more for our children in the juvenile justice system.

I'm grateful to Mayor Parker and @governor.pa.gov for fighting to restore this important exhibit.
I'm happy to see the restoration of the slavery exhibit at the President's House in Philadelphia. As Americans, we must learn from ALL of our history β the triumphs as equally as the stains and disasters. We must not accept anything less.
We will not stand by idly as families are traumatized. We will not be silent. We will insist on law and order and stand with our local and state police who live in the communities they serve. My colleagues and I will do what we can to protect our rights.
I am a state representative and have limited legislative options to bring ICE under control. But, I am also a citizen who will not stand for my communities and neighbors being put in danger.
Our community has strong opinions and feelings about federal immigration enforcement actions. I hear you. I stand with you. We must all add our voices and say we have had enough of anonymous, unaccountable federal agents terrorizing our neighborhoods and trampling on our constitution.
The true strength of our nation lies in its diversity. We are at our best when we embrace our differences, and there is absolutely no room for racismβespecially from those in leadership. We deserve leaders who promote unity, not division.
Legislation I have co-sponsored include:
πReinforcing your 4th amendment rights
ποΈDocumenting ICE civil liberties violations
πͺͺEnsuring ICE officers are identifiable and unmasked
ποΈProtecting access to courthouses and state property
My colleagues and I are doing everything in our power to ensure the safety and security of our communities during this uneasy time. It is important to me that we pass actionable legislation that will protect each of you.
Senator Fetterman - (215) 241-1090
Senator McCormick - (215) 405-9660
As a state legislator, I am doing all I can to ensure our communities and neighbors feel safe, while we are witnessing illegal actions and an over reach of power from ICE and Border Patrol.
I encourage you to reach out to our U.S. Senators and make your voice heard about defunding ICE.
I will continue to work with my colleagues in the PA House to advocate for our neighbors, our communities and to protect our civil liberties.
Even in these dark days, I am looking for the light of a brighter future. We are strongest together. I encourage you to seek out stronger connections with your neighbors and our community-based organizations.
In the PA House, Iβve joined my colleagues in support of several bills that aim to clarify state laws and protect the residents of our Commonwealth.
I expect federal law enforcement to work with, rather than against, state and local officials and act in accordance with PA state laws, federal laws, and our U.S. Constitution.
Our countryβs history is deeply flawed when it comes to ensuring those rights and freedoms are protected for everyone. Yet I will continue to insist that we strive at every moment to guard our civil liberties and uphold the values of our Constitution β for ALL.
We must not allow misinformation to control the narratives.
The United States of America has as our bedrock foundation the U.S. Constitution, which includes the Bill of Rights where individualsβ rights and freedoms are explicitly defined.
I am horrified by news headlines and videos over the past year, and especially this past weekend. Iβve heard from many of my constituents that they feel the same. Right is right and wrong is wrong. We must guard against any attempt to normalize these things.
Today marks 53 years since the Roe v. Wade decision and reproductive rights are under attack in America like never before. While abortion is still legal in PA, we must keep it that way. I will always fight to preserve your right to choose.
AI technology is here to stay, that is why it is vital state legislators step up if the federal administration isn't willing to act. I believe it is our duty as legislators to ensure our consumers' safety.

My thoughts on the Brown University Shooting:
PA, I'm standing up for your freedoms and liberties. No one should tell you what you can and cannot do with your own body. It is past time that our legislature update our laws to give ALL persons within our Commonwealth the right to control their bodies.

In these unprecedented times silence is not an option. I join my colleagues in standing firm against threats of political violence. This is unacceptable from any one person or political party. The checks and balances established in our constitution must be protected.

Breaking Down the Budget: We continue to increase investment into public education, programs to help working families, and continuing to care for our seniors all without raising taxes. Take a look at some of the highlights! πππ
Moving forward, I will continue to advocate for a more responsible budget timeline. This budget focuses on working families, invests in schools, reflects responsible governance, and balances fiscal discipline with compassion.
We now have a state budget. Today, I voted YES on balanced, bipartisan budget that creates jobs, invests in education, protects seniors, and does not raise taxes. It never should have taken this long. Our schools, communities, and nonprofits suffered with this delay.
I am calling for a full investigation into the error with the voter rolls today that led to Independents, unaffiliated, and third party voters not being listed in the poll books. All polling locations now have the updated poll books. Please read the letter below:
