I miss having uk based visual kei friends who am i meant to drag to paris with me to see all those bands!? But so much of the uk scene were so toxic and horrid and im glad theyre not in my circles anymore

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

ppl who still commission their favourite artists even in this era where everyone is broke and genAI is being pushed on us at every opportunity—you are appreciated more than words can express!!!

problem is they all seem to be mostly peas based and i'm not a huge fan of peas :(

usually i love cooking myself tasty things with a bunch of veg in! i should get some of the frozen paella again at least that has some veg in and is easy to cook lol

lately i've been so exhausted, had absolutely 0 drive or energy to make real food so have been living off microwave meals and simple and fast things to cook like instant noodles. cant wait to want vegetables again dfjkghdfjghd (last few times i've bought veg they've gone bad from disuse oops)

My ex is walking back on his agreement in text to give me until the 4th for my belongings, and is now forcing me to gather help to move out tomorrow and Sunday

i hate when ppl are like 'quick, easy and cheap recipie!' and it's like 20 ingredients including at least 3 that require a specialist store, needs 10 bowls and 3 pans and sure it only takes 15 mins to cook but takes 3 hours to prep

Thankfully we're back in now. Everything is ok, the cats are ok and theres no damage to my floor. Smells smoky tho. I just got back from checking on a friend in the same building and they're ok too. Called out of work for tonight now gonna sleep.

Theres a fire in my building 2 floors above me. I got outside ok but i could only find one of my cats. Nim is still inside but firebrigade know and said she'll be ok cause the doors are closed. I found someone i have a mutual friend with and am sat with them

I'm just glad theyre helpful to people!! I also need to put up some more bundles like a bird bundle to help reduce costs for folks even more. Want them to be accessable!
