Whatβs β3 hours of genius?β
We created over 300 Shorts/Reels/TikToks!
AMA.
HUGE design update to my shopping cart page. Notice the difference?
The most significant improvements are AJAX and the "You May Also Like" section, which allows users to add our best products to their carts automatically.
I had a lot of help coding this from ChatGPT.
@justinjackson.ca do you have any content (specifically video) on reading Transistor analytics and how to apply learnings to improve your podcast?
Note to self:
Do not discount. Remove upsell discounts. Instead, use email to convince people to buy.
Don't build a business.
Build a lifestyle that generates income.
YouTube is neck and neck with our blog in terms of sales for us.
I believe as Google continues to change, it will become our dominant revenue source.
We run ads but Iβm still not proficient at it. Hoping to master it in 2025.
Learning to be bored at the moment.
As for Money Lab, which is now just a podcast, I publish a new episode every weekday.
Been doing it for a year now with almost zero growth lol.
Thankfully, thatβs not the goal.
Currently weβre in winter mode working on updating our hot tub book.
Which means we scale back content. But that said, weβre mostly focused on YouTube longs and shorts.
A little bit of social content on FB and Instagram for learning and attention.
And almost no new blog posts β just updates.
Youβre probably not posting enough content.
The list of Calm Company attributes ;-)
@justinjackson.ca I don't know if I ever told you, but I LOVED this article and think about it often...

Smart move. I heard Rory Sutherland talk about how better it is.
Here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-5L...
I did the same. But only because how it looked.
Now, I feel like damn GENIUS!
I'm a podcast recording MACHINE π
I hope this skeet finds you well.
Oh that makes sense
How about here?
LIFE HACK: Answer your phone "Hello you're on the air" and 99% of the time people will just hang up.
don't order books (or anything) from Amazon today! Instead, order from a small press, Bookshop, a local bookstore, or request a book from your local library. Yes, Amazon is "easy," but it's continuing to kill local businesses and concentrate wealth.
I have an episode coming up about this. But Iβll do a few more because I think even I need to get clearer on its role in 2025.
From that episode, I remember saying that I will continue to update and publish articles for my existing audienceβnot with the goal to rank. Ranking will be a by-product.
Working on thisβ¦
Thanks!
Yea if anything I want to double down on it. Doing the podcast this way might turn out to be the best business decision I ever made.
Good feedback to keep me going! Thanks!
I'm glad you imagine this, too ;-)
Getting there though...
Same!
I just finished developing an internal SOP for creating sales campaigns.
Now, I'm working all day crafting emails and social posts to schedule.
A brewery.
Easiest answer I ever gave ;-)
Thanks! Yea, it's a lot. But I expect people pick and choose based on title anyway. I would.
Any suggestions to make the show better?
I published 217 podcast episodes in 2024 using what I call my "Effortless SOP."
Did I grow? Nope.
But I did keep 150 subscribers engaged 5 days a week.
