"The Prodigy"
Perched in the steep wall of a narrow river canyon lives this charming little tree. Reflected light kisses its leaves to make it stand out against the cool sandstone alcove it calls home.
Happy to see James here! He's a very creative photographer who sees the world just a little bit differently.
Reeds on a calm lake in the fog
A little something from last fall while out on an early morning paddle.
Awesome work Klaus! ๐
Beautiful work Dan!
Calm lake in the early morning fog
Dragonfly - 2024
This was taken from my canoe during an early morning paddle on a local lake. The lake is surrounded by dead and dying spruce and cedar and the foggy conditions were perfect.
@michaelbeecham.com really uses Glass to his advantage with the "Series" concept where you can start to build collections of images almost like mini galleries. His series are fantastic!
IMO, Glass does the best job at presenting photographers work in an uncluttered and simplified manner.
Couldn't agree more with you about finding a more ethical place to share, Michael. Oh yeah, very stunning image! Wow!
Thanks for the kind words Nick! I really appreciate that. ๐ Glad to see there's a big community of landscape photographers here!
Thanks Viktoria! ๐ I never was a Twitter user so Bsky is a little foreign but I'm liking it so far. ๐
Thanks Klaus! That's super nice of you! ๐ I never used Twitter so Bsky is a little foreign to me. But, I'm digging it so far!
Thanks Johannes! Right back at you! ๐
I'm the same as you. Never used Twitter but looking for an alt to IG. Absolutely stunning image. Nice work! ๐
Thanks Klaus! It's a nice change from IG. ๐
Phragmites in the snow
Into silence - 2025
A quiet but snowy day on the shores of Georgian Bay.
Beautiful image Nick!
Beautiful work Klaus!
Tree hanging over frozen river
About ten minutes from my house is a conservation area. When I have limited time I go there because it's close by and has a river flowing through it. I have walked passed this scene dozens of times. But this day was different and I was happy to have returned to the same place... again.
