One last desperate attempt to milk her transphobia for cash.

Labour is a DEEPLY, DEEPLY, DEEPLY transphobic party, especially when Labour MPs tell us they are not transphobic.

They are so transphobic that they believe it is better to impose conversion therapy on trans kids to β€œsave” them from being trans.

You can’t get any more transphobic than that.

Cis people need to pay attention to the way they communicate this. They freely admit that after all of their research, they came up with zero evidence that HRT was harmful.

Then they banned it anyway, claiming their inability to find a reason is a reason in of itself.

I'm told some Labour MPs are unhappy with this latest act of hostility towards trans people being blamed on Streeting. That feels silly or naΓ―ve. It's happening because Wesley kept in place in the NHS, indeed encouraged, the ideologues that Kemi Badenoch *told us* she introduced to key positions.

If you’re a Labour MP who doesn’t want to be called transphobic or be tarred with the bigoted stench this Labour government’s policies leave behind?

Leave Trans kids alone you absolute freaks.

If hormones, or puberty blockers, were so dangerous, nobody would be allowed them.

That some people are and that trans kids can even, notionally at least, stay on them if already prescribed, tells you all you need to know.

The behaviour adviser to the DfE posts a photo of JK Rowling on International Women's Day. I'm not okay with this and I'm not impressed that the DfE enables this kind of behaviour from its advisers. If you're involved with his organisation then presumably you don't have a problem with it.

Hi @neilmackay.bsky.social. you've rightly picked up on the BBC failing Scotland in its news reporting. Do you have anything to say about your own paper continuing to F over trans people, including portraying this nasty, racist bigot as a martyr?

Don't get too excited abouT Chris Whitty. He also said "β€œI think that the Cass Review was actually a very sensible review myself, and what it said was a lot of the heat from this comes from the fact that there is relatively little, or no, really strong evidence in parts of this debate."

Dear Shabana,
I notice today that you referred to me in your speech on immigration at the IPPR think tank.
You said: β€œA party leader should not be on the beaches of France encouraging people to
make a perilous crossing on small boats.”
I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised especially after the hateful Labour campaign in Gorton
and Denton, but this is just the latest in a string of lies peddled by a discredited Government
who intentionally fan the flames of racism and division.
When I went to Calais, I was not there to encourage people to travel to the UK. I was there
to see at first hand the suffering your Government and successive Governments have done
in demonising migrants in a pathetic bid to pander to the base instincts of Reform and the
flawed strategy of Morgan McSweeney.
As you will know, if you even bothered to research my visit instead of taking Reform talking
points, I was there to witness the brutality of families living in tents in freezing temperatures. I
filled water tanks and picked up litter.
What that visit did do is confirm my belief that if we are to smash the boat gangs and stop
the boats, we need to offer safer and managed routes for migrants to come to this country.
Showing compassion as a politician is not a crime. In fact, we need to see much more of it.
It reminded me of a young MP who in October 2015 spent three days in Lesbos helping
migrants fleeing war-torn Syria. She posted videos on X, talked about handing out water and
croissants to refugees and food parcels.
When she returned to the UK, she wrote a very moving piece in the New Statesman. She
said β€œwe have to work with our European partners and create new, safe, and legal routes for
refugees to get to Europe. We cannot abandon them to their fate, left as prey for smugglers
whilst risking death on the seas.”
She said β€œmaybe we can make ourselves feel better by saying no-one is making them get on
the boats. And again, the Home Secretary is not entirely wrong when …

Dear Shabana,

Let's clear some things up around migration and remember we're talking about people's lives.

It with great sadness that we read the GirlGuides are continuing to discriminate against transgender children despite the offer by the @goodlawproject.org to defend them in any legal case. It is painfully apparent now they have used threats against them by the GCIM as an excuse to allow exclusion.

In Defense of Effeminate Boys

In Defense of Effeminate Boys If anyone had suggested that I might really be a girl, I don’t know how I would have responded. By Ben Appel

If medical authorities have a rigorous way of distinguishing effeminate boys from transgender kidsβ€”or of distinguishing transgender kids from proto-gay kidsβ€”they aren’t saying. I have met a number of detransitioned gay men who tried to live as women for a time because they and their families were so averse to homosexuality. According to a 2019 report in The Times of London, staffers at Britain’s foremost gender-identity clinic joked darkly that, as a result of the facility’s work, β€œthere would be no gay people left.” A statement last month by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons noted that there is no validated way to assess whether a child’s gender distress will persist over time or disappear without medical intervention. A lack of good research and recordkeeping means that we may never know how many patients who would have been considered effeminate gay boys not so long ago have undergone medical treatments for gender dysphoria.

Absolute trash. The author did not speak to a single medical professional and the article does not contain a shred of evidence that effeminate gay boys are being bamboozled into thinking they're trans.

@fiercemum.bsky.social’s CURRENT research, consistently supports transition for trans kids. Meanwhile our NHS announces one tiny study informed by data from 1950,66,68 & 81 that informs their belief that transitioning’s a safeguarding risk. The manufacture of hateful cherrypicked evidence continues.
