@curiouslychase.com are you still liking your Nomad? Trying to decide between that and the Manta. I like the Nomads size but it looks like the tech for the Manta is better

Just posted a job listing for a Solutions Architect:
programodo.com/job-listings/2
We are looking for someone who can be both customer facing and a tech lead. While this role has management elements to it, we would need you to lead by example by demonstrating communication and coding skills
Will be posting a job listing for a solutions architect role on Tuesday. Looking for someone who enjoys talking to clients and has experience aligning requirements with technical (Laravel) solutions. Wanted to give everyone a head start as we will be very selective
Not currently. However feel free to submit your application and we will consider that when we hire again
Dev spin up time is why we always stick with @tailwindcss.com. People say it's ugly but I can bring in a new dev to a codebase and it's immediately apparent where things are and how things should behave.
Just sat through a 3 hour handoff meeting and that ended up not being enough time. There was a lot of comments like "we thought we were being clever." Things were over engineered for a future state that never happened.
The speed that a developer can stand up a codebase and start making contributions is immeasurably valuable. Stick to conventions. Write tests. Maintain seeders. Write clear PRs.
First for me. Was in an interview with someone who was pretending to be a completely different person. They swiped another person's resume and had a whole back story. Absolutely wild.
It's been my experience that clients who want thorough contracts tend to be easier to work with than clients who want to "keep things simple" and want a light contract and hand shake deals.
Finalizing our list of applicants today. If you haven't applied and are interested please follow the link below
Really excited to grow the team! If you love the Laravel/Vue/Tailwind stack, please apply. Happy to answer questions.
The wall time is useful for a time that doesn't shift based on of daylight savings time - A store opens at 9am.
UTC is great for comparing and sorting time
The locale is important to account for different spellings of names for timezone names - Kolkata vs Calcutta.
It's not perfect, but when storing times in the db, I have a column for the wall time, utc, and timezone stored in IANA format. I also store the locale on the user record.
I bought the domain phpxatl.com
Any PHP/Laravel developers in the Atlanta Metro area that would be interested in getting together for a local meetup?

This app has been a godsend to stop random political texts. My only gripe is that it is iPhone only. So I sign into my Mac and see the million texts that have been ignored. apps.apple.com/us/app/stop-...
Blueskyβs captured tech twitter because it appeals to our innate desire to buy a new domain name.

I donβt think Iβve ever used copy and move. TIL
Itβs finally flannel weather in Georgia and Iβm here for it.
I think I have mine set to cmd + backspace. But I also like cmd shift and either the up or down keys to move a line
