Happy judgment day to all who celebrate.

This article pretty much sums up why I love tech - it has the potential to be an equaliser and we live in an age where it can be so much more accessible to those who might not have had the opportunity ten, twenty or thirty years ago. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
I love the art on the limited edition covers. I would totally purchase prints of these to put up in my office.
Powershell blows chunks. That's it. That's the post.
After three days of coding constipation, being stuck on an insidious React state problem, my brain's rectum opened up and spattered the sprint board with three closed tickets. Code quality to analogy suitability ratio yet to be determined, but my brainus hurts a lot less and that's all I care about.
Just played my first run, and I'm already in love. Congrats on a cracking game!
This made me so happy.
A fully painted Kill Team of Imperial Navy Breachers.
Breach, breach, breach!!! Calling these space dudes done. #warhammer40k #killteam #tabletopgaming
I can't begin to tell you how excited I am that there's a big fat supplement coming for #Frostgrave in August. I'll be getting that preorder in for Advanced Spellcraft come pay day.
I've never backed a vidja game Kickstarter before, but this looks like a good first. ππ
friends are calling this unhinged but I am calling it honest π

Hideaki Anno and Hayao Miyazaki playing with a plane toy.
Just wanted to post this pic of Hideaki Anno (Evangelion) and Hayao Miyazaki, two of my favorite storytellers.
Not just because their work is pretty, but because their stories are meaningful. Because they speak of pain as well as the beauty of life.
Because their stories are above all human.
I know Viktor Antonov was known for many things, but for me the biggest impact of his work was seeing the very distinct Eastern European environments of Half-Life 2 for the first time. At the time you just didn't see these kinds of things depicted realistically in games.

Nighttime aerial shot of castle and cottage in Tiny Glade video game.
I love that I can casually chuck fifteen or twenty minutes into my little castle village before bed. Day and night shot for #TinyGlade.
Screenshot in Tiny Glade of tiny cottage style castle looking over a pond.
Photo mode in Tiny Glade depicting aerial shot of cottage style castle from behind another colourful castle.
I'm enjoying building dinky and cosy little castles in #TinyGlade, because I am far too tired to build dinky little castle terrain for my #Frostgrave game next week. I anticipate this is just the start of a bottomless pit kind of obsession.
Iunno if this is common knowledge (I'm self-taught in this stuff, can't make myself sit through tutorial vids) but for those shading white fabric on a #dnd or similar mini? Mix 10% blue ink and 90% Spirit Medium (by Two Thin Coats) or similar. 1 drop to 9 drops gets you a long way. This is IT.
Nintendo Switch year in review including my top 3 - Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Slay the Spire, Mario Bros Wonder.
My Nintendo Switch year in review. Honestly, just looking at these three together makes me very happy. Very surprised though that #Balatro isn't here - maybe in 2025?

Went to a sustainable #coding event last night, and I'm now thinking about the oil tanker spill's worth of code sitting on my desk.
Massive away win for the little fella.
Went to the doctor today. Told them I felt worn down, tired, and constantly stressed.
Doctor said: "Iβve got an easy fix. Check out this new game called Balatro. Itβs a roguelike deckbuilder and the talk of the town. Thatβll pick you up."

No Manβs Sky and Cyberpunk 2077 are proof positive that GAMES NEED TIME AND PATIENCE TO PROPERLY DEVELOP.
WHEN YOU RUSH AND CRUNCH, IT HURTS THE WHOLE PROCESS
Creating video games is hard, but working with publishers can be even harder. To help level the playing field, I've been working with with a law firm to develop a foundational "starting point" for solo developers to use when developing publishing contracts.
It'll be free and uploaded next week π
Is floopy hat weather.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It was my introduction to the Zelda series, it was a marvel of epic storytelling when it first came out and I still play it at least once a year since. It might not have dated well gameplay-wise, but it'll always be my perfect game.
Morrowind. I like to think that I could live in a fantasy mushroom land where I could persistently hear that soundtrack going on in the background, but I'd probably just hang around Seyda Neen the whole time - can't be bothered with those cliff racers.
Hey this seems rad and has no downsides that I can find?
