I’m not familiar either, and the fact the journalists who wrote the article decided to call it “double-touching” (while the statement doesn’t seem to say double touching is illegal) doesn’t help reduce my confusion

What I mean is: before that statement went out nobody else could give a definitive answer on whether touching the granite was allowed.
