How is I/O the same week as #KotlinConf for the second year in a row?

@johnoreilly.dev what do you think about adding a new data source to the People in Space app?
To clarify, this didn't happen today. I think those links went away around the same time you folks started putting things back on YouTube last year.
I don't think it's all there. I had old links to talks of mine that no longer resolve. Eg m.youtube.com/watch?v=0fjL... from 2018 which was on the old DCNYC youtube page or www.droidcon.com/media-detail... from 2019 on the droidcon website.
Any plan to restore older content? US Droidcons only go back to 2022 on that page and I don't know where to find the pandemic-era online events or the pre-pandemic NY and SF recordings anymore.
I swear this could be a screenshot from The Sims
Pretty sure these are AI-generated images. Full versions of those posters probably don't exist.

It's true. As a lazy user, I don't want to configure anything, task graph or otherwise.
Android view instead of Project view
fun foo(): Nothing { while (true); }
I feel compelled to come back to this thread and report that I had the opportunity today to do a one-line loop and realized you can go save a couple more characters with another rarely-used bit of Kotlin syntax
Every year is the year of Kotlin Multiplatform

There is one tailrec function tucked away deep in Multiplatform Settings and I'm stupidly proud of it

Does this mean we should only use AIs to solve NP problems? And if AGI can solve any problem, does that mean that AGI requires P=NP? 🙃
For those of you who heard him on the stream, here's Qwerty!
Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got til it's gone?
Yeah, I get why it would happen like this, I just feel bad for the Java developers who don't get to use it.
Feels a little strange to have this in KGP rather than the maven-publish or signing plugins.
I have the same outfit! But for some reason nobody is ever afraid of my wherewolf costume.
Lego Android Robot standing next to Lego Kodee
Lego Kodee was feeling lonely so I built him a friend.
Oh my bad, then. I don't manage to catch every episode and I guess I've only heard ones that you weren't on since you left Google.
Is that an AI summary? I don't think @chethaase.com came out of retirement for this one.
The Wikipedia page on the Julian Calendar has a lot of detail on all this. In short, Julius Caesar made some major calendar reforms to make the old Roman calendar match the year/seasons better. This included introducing the modern practice of leap days.

If you're excited to play a game, take the day off and play it today. Work-life balance means taking that off day when you want it, rather than waiting until one just happens.
The @jetbrains.com folks were giving them out as prizes for different challenges at their booth. I won one for cross-platform trivia.

Now that I'm back from #dcbln25, my brand new @ogkodee.bsky.social can join the rest of the Kodee family.
