Iβm thinking less of a wire protocol and more along the lines of a distributed system. More like atproto basically.

if someone hypothetically wanted to design a protocol, where should they start? (things to read, videos to watch, etc)

i think i'm going to start using @semble.so to collect websites like trading cards
Iβm curious to see if it turns into slices or more of an overlapped venn diagram still
Is there a good way to visualize how the users on bluesky self sort over time with blocks and mutes?
expr-lang.org is really cool if you need a light little expression syntax in a golang system
Sounds good to me! Could be another repo or even just a build artifact of the repo that stores the reports.
The plus side of separate json files is easy searching for a full username over the network and avoiding merge conflicts when many reports come in at once.
So the allowlist in the repo sounds the same as the vouch approach, nice π.
Having it work for only one repo feels like the lost opportunity though. What I was hoping to show with /areyouabot is just that the tooling around a shared and queryable set of json reports can be kept quite simple.
I was curious about the blocklist so made this to see what it might be like. I like the concept of a centrally tracked banlist.
re: blocklist vs allowlist - I'd like it to be possible for newcomers to wander in and made a PR without it getting auto-closed.

PS sorry @npmx.dev if i just posted in the wrong channel π
concept: a discord channel `#unknown` that you post in, then a bot routes your message to the right channel from there based on an LLM's ability to match it to some "directory" of each of the channels

this seems to be a bit of a project to untangle the Lucia auth that's currently in there to replace it with atproto identities + custom roles & groups to be used. seems like a fun lil problem set though π
